Forged iron, 18” height, with three primary blades angled from the central stalk producing a whirling “buzz saw” effect when thrown and capable of bringing an enemy down. Those so wounded, were taken for human consumption while the more fit were marched to the East Coast market for sale to the Arabic world. So iconic, that it was this weapon shown on the spine of the dust jacket for Stone’s monumental “Glossary”
