Brass hilt with a reversed shell guard decorated with a flaming bomb to the front and foliage to the back. Foliate knuckle bow. Spherical pommel and wire wrapped horn grip. 29 ¼” hollow face triangular blade with indistinct maker’s mark at the base. Dark patina throughout. The blade with a smooth gray patina. Hilt nicely toned with crisp detail to the high relief decoration.
