Plated hilt with slotted rolled edge guard. Black japanned wood grip. 31 ½” curved broad fullered blade decorated first half with foliage, military trophies, Arms of Italy, another armorial device (Piedmont), and flaming bomb. Plating scabbard with minor dents. Hilt retains about 75% plating. Grip surface worn. Blade quite crisp and bright.
