Gold and silver-plated hilt mounts with down-curved foliate terminal guard and scalloped pommel. Congealed cord wrapped grip. Unmarked, and likely made before the 1930 requirement for country of origin labeling. Based on the arms in the Spanish Royal Collection at the Real Armeria del Palacio Real, Madrid. The blade is of exceptional quality, finely formed, and balanced.
