Late 16th century style. Large proportions at 18” height. Hammered skull with rolled top comb. The neck plates and visor with matching rolled edges. The front gorget plate of elegant recurved form. Medially ridged and peaked visor with lifting peg. Engraved octagonal pivot bolts. Flamboyant plume holder with engraved coat of arms. On display stand with a good genuine patina. Very impressive and commanding center piece.
