9th-7th century BC. 6 3/4” diameter with flared slightly down turned lip pierced for hanging. Wheel turned on raised foot. Brown slip decorated with the well shaded and exterior broad band. The lip with scalloped line. Hair line crack nearly imperceptible. Colors particularly bright. Cypriot pottery was used throughout the Mediterranean. From our own collection and compares favorably with national museum examples.
