Early-mid 19th century. Size 9 3/4 with very broad (3/4”) 18.9mm band. One edge with double pelleted bands the other recessed. Pierced 2/3 its circumference with an architectural lattice. both sides of the lattice show wear with decreased detail from being worn with adjacent rings for an extended period.  The center with triple disks on a swell surrounding a ring with jingles over a turquois cabochon. Great character and early example. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Gypsies were persecuted and enslaved in western Europe. The found eastern Europe, particularly Poland and Hungary to be refuges where they prospered, relatively unmolested.
