Iron hilt with D form guard slotted at the top for a sword knot. Black leather covered grip made without wire wrap. 25 3/4" straight broad fullered spear point blade. N STARR / US / P / L S (Luther Sage, inspector). Blade and hilt quite dark with some rust speckles as typical for these. Grip complete and excellent with good glossy finish
