Thai or Cambodian mountain tribes. Good old example, probably 19th century. 32 1/8" hardwood bow, elegantly formed with slightly upturned tips. Original pitch coated plant fiber string with split cane medial wrap. Wood stock with flared butt and captive black horn trigger. The base of the arrow channel with an inset iron pin to secure the arrow before firing. Carved bands behind the bow slot. The fore stock with decorative three hole cluster. Well carved and good rich patina. Used to fire light poison tipped arrows so size translated to range, but impact was not a factor.
