18th-19th century. Major proportions. 22height plus the base and 46# weight! Cast bronze as a demonic faced spirit. Fine graceful pose with exaggerated elongated curved tip fingers. Elaborate dance costume including high relief embroidered form fitting tunic with pointed cuffs and large flower appliques. The headdress of typical form with elaborately detailed cheek pieces and stepped pointed top. Fine green patina to the skin. The body with gold overlay showing minor age wear as expected. Dramatic display.
