Cruciform hilt with expanded terminal cross guard, oval ring guard and two bar guard to the back with a thumb ring. Faceted mushroom form pommel. Leather over wire wrapped grip with turban form terminals. 32 1/8" blade with raised medial, tapered through its length. The hilt with smooth wear and a little forged lamination. Fine proportions. An arming sword, worn with armor and used against an armored opponent.
