proportions. Slender ass skin covered stock with large ivory ball butt.
Silver niello mounts including three broad barrel bands, side plate,
back strap, lower mount and trigger. Good quality lock with makers
mark to the bridle and original leather thumb shield. 11 .50 cal
tapered barrel. Complete and mechanically exc. Lock and barrel
bright-just slight frosty pitting to the lock, negligible for the
period. Mounts excellent. Cossacks supported the Russian aristocracy
and were persecuted after the Bolshevik Revolution. Quality rarely
encountered.
