EXCELLENT QUALITY TURKISH YATAGHAN

18th century and displaying the same large proportions with 25 3/4 narrow back fullered blade.  Embossed brass bolster and tang band.  Two piece black horn grips with fine flamboyant eared terminals.  Untouched companion to the above example.  Both with the delicate bolster decoration complete as rarely found.  Blade shows surface rust, partially removed to gray patina.  The top of the tang band, about 5/8 x 4 1/2 lacking.  Can be replaced with sheet brass punch decorated to match the balance.  Theres even an old label attached marked CONSERVE.  Would value this example complete at about $1350.00.
