11-13 century, the Andalusian Reconquista, during which the Spanish drove the Moors from the south of Spain.  Moors from North Africa invaded and controlled the south of the Iberian Peninsula after718 AD. Their four century rule resulted in, among other things, the iconic architecture of the region including the Alhambra in Grenada. 3 5/8” length. Finely formed with slender back swept barbs. Butted seam conical socket. Dark patina with a little rust growth, but virtually uncompromised with original surfaces throughout. Very rare.
