Danelaw England. Just over 13 1/8" length with medially ridged leaf shaped point and forged seam conical socket. Excavated with a good profile, the edges mostly intact and patches of original surface with incised lines. The socket is heavily textured with loss to the bottom. Classic example of good size. See yorkarchaeology.co.uk for other English examples.
