Provincial example of variant construction. Silvered bronze, just under 1 ½” width. Thin section silvered bronze with the tips thickened to represent Sol the sun and Mani the moon. The tope with a separate suspension loop riveted on. Lunar pendants were worn as pectorals as well as suspended from belts, other clothing, and horse harnesses. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored, on an 18” Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
