Forged iron, 3 3/8" length with coiled grip one spiral twist straight shank. Delicate stepped bit. Finely forged and particularly sophisticated for the type. Slavery was integral to Viking culture. Most Viking homesteads had slave quarters. As well, raids regularly produced captives which were sold, often in North Africa or ransomed. Fantastic centerpiece for lock/key collection.
