17th-18th century. 28 7/8” length. Cane shaft with bone nock and glazed silk wrap with no evidence of fletching. Finely forged medially ridged iron point with vicious barbs. The socket built up of about copper disks and bands. An investment in labor, strictly to ornament an arrow of which there must have been thousands. These were used to attack unprotected civilians as entire villages and towns were laid to waste and the populations annihilated.
