Edo period, before 1867, probably about 1800. 12 1/8" length with 2 3/4" triangular section point. The broadest face with a narrow fuller with red lacquer fill. Flared base and upturned tip, all in bright polish with a few superficial rust speckles. Tapered tang with a single pinhole for securing peg.
