Period of Mehmed IV-Suleiman II. Oval bronze, 5/8" width with chiseled cursive Arabic signature in reverse to wax seal documents. Reverse with a contoured post grip, the tip pierced and mounted with an iron ring, probably a mail link for suspension. Indicative of a noble owner as commoners would seldom endorse documents.
