13th-14th century. Bonze, 2” height. Crested rectangular form with suspension ting to the top. The crest with remnants of an inscription, probably a family motto. The rectangle pierced with a grape bunch on its foliage. Suspended from the bridle, these were worn for tournaments and are most often found on old tournament fields. This one is distinguished by its intact suspension loop.
