The original garment pin was patented two millennia later as the “safety pin”. High ridged arched frame with transverse bar decoration and nub finial. Fastened at the shoulder and serving as jewelry as well as a garment fastener. Bronze, about 1 3/8” length, of elegant form, with fine patina.
