Qajar period. Iron, 26 1/4” length with tubular haft terminating in a spike. Crescent form blade opposite a rectangular peen. Decorated throughout, the haft with a spiral enclosing foliage. The head with a large panel of exotic birds each side. The peen with face of a noble or ruler. Gray patina with some isolated pitting speckles.
