18th century. Iron hilt with expanded scalloped edge quillons, double knuckle bow and large, deeply dished pierced pommel. 29 5/8” curved s.e. blade with long ricasso. Well used with some wear and gray patina. Isolated pitting as expected for the period. The blade with distinct angular pattern.
