Late 18th century. Rounded iron skull with six panels, each with a seated noble with court accoutrements and foliage. Broad calligraphy band to the base. Twin plume holders, diamond section top spike, adjustable nasal bar (screw loose) and two peak mail fall. Medium patina throughout with the decoration quite crisp. The surface with some spotty dark staining and frosty/raised oxidation to the calligraphy band.
