19th century. 7 7/8” height with domed foot, swelled turnip form body and scalloped flared lip. Decorated with incised and enameled floral motifs in broad bands with repeated leaf motifs to the shoulder. Good patina. Minor enamel loss as always encountered. This work is most usually associated with Banaras from which it draws its inspiration, however the pigment choices suggest a provincial workshop.
