Balkan, made in Prizren, Kosovo. See Elgood, #280. 18 ½” length with 12 1/8” tapered barrel, faceted at the breech, decorated with raised foliage and top flat sight. Excellent quality lock engraved with panels of foliage in the European style. Spured brass butt cap with silver terminal. The entire stock sheathed in brass engraved in foliate and geometric panels. Some wear from use throughout. Style rarely encountered.
