Standard pattern. Gilt brass hilt with folding side guard pierced with the crowned eagle with cipher of Kaiser Willhelm II. Wire wrapped ray skin grip with the crowned cipher was well. 33 ½” double fullered blade with maker’s name P D LUNESHLOSS SOLINGEN to the ricasso. Blade bright in original preservative. Considerable remnants of gold to the hilt. Iron scabbard with near all original blue/black finish and a few very minor dents. Nice clean example.
