Iron hilt with semi-bowl guard with faded original blue. Checkered one piece back strap and pommel surface worn with a little pitting. Grip sound with the surface deteriorated in storage. 35 1/2" slightly curved quill back blade with a set of three indistinct marks. Dark patina and light to medium pitting.
