Cast (not sheet) semi bowl brass guard with forward quillon. Fine checkered finger stall horn grip. 32 3/8” broad fullered slightly curved blade. The base marked E HORSTER SOLINGEN who produced arms for numerous European governments. The blade well decorated first half with numerous trophies of classical military arms and equipment. Excellent for use at sea with smooth spotty discoloration but no oxidation intrusion.
