Last quarter of 19th century. 32" broad fullered curved blade decorated in foliage first half, faint as made and somewhat obscured by gray patina. Brass hilt with wire-wrapped leather-covered grip (minor congealing) with the wire complete. Iron scabbard with nearly all original blackened finish. Good clean example from that historic (Wilhelm/Bismarck) period.
