Octagonal haft slightly tapered through its length. The butt with wear and remnants of a grounding spike confirming its original length. The head pitted overall. The haft with fine age patina and minor age blemishes as expected. Period of the War of Spanish Succession and later, French and Indian War. Great overall character.
