11th-12th century, crusades period. Found in Southern Germany along the route to the Holy Land. 5 3/4” length. Rounded face curved arms with simple rectangular strap eyes. Stout conical spike to the middle heal. Excavated with surface texture. Stable, professionally conserved condition.
