In the high Renaissance style with 34” double edged blade with broad ricasso. White metal hilt with down curved foliate terminal guard and scalloped pommel. Wire wrapped grip. Unmarked, and likely made before the 1930 requirement for country of origin labeling. Based on the arms in the Spanish Royal Collection at the Real Armeria del Palacio Real, Madrid.
