37 3/8” length. The shaft and grip made from a natural gnarled branch with the bark on and shoots smoothed over as nubs. The handle, a natural chamois horn with silver ferrule and carved horn cloven foot connecting it to the grip. Silver ferrule below with a nub acting as a release button for the 11 ½” diamond section blade. The tip with an iron sleeve and steel tip for stability on the rocky trails. This may be compared to the Alpiner’s sticks popular in the 1880’s which were branded with the names and dates of the towns visited. Expected wear and minor blemishes. Great Alpine character
