Late 19th century. 27 3/8” tapered blade with a gray patina and scattered black pitting on tool finish. Leather covered thick cross guard, tubular brass grip and intricately made laminated brass pommel, undamaged as rarely found. Scarce as the complex construction of these doomed most to recycling after deterioration.
