Good and scarce example of the Tuareg warriors lance made of steel 'Allarh', which was only allowed to the higher ranking Tuareg warriors. 55 ¼” length, forged iron with cylindrical shaft inlaid with brass bands and raised with pairs of barbs. Medially ridged leaf shaped blade with matching barbs below. Minor rusting and staining. A few of the brass bands missing. Some forged finish evident. Lacks the flared iron base piece. We’ve had just one other example in the last 20 years!
