Iron hilt with ridged figure-eight guard and ridged knuckle guard. Dished pommel with a curved back spur for two-hand use. Broad pierced terminal langets encasing the 38” wedge section s.e. blade. Quite crisp throughout with just superficial staining from handling. The blade possibly watered steel.
