A rerebrace plate from the articulated right upper arm. From the John Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester Mass. About 8" length along the surface with offset ridge, accented by a cusp in the beveled upper edge. Both ends with semi rolled edge and sunk border. The inside (body side) with triple ridge flutes. All highly skillfully finished The back with original scale finish.  A fine genuine single element from the period when plate armor reached its peak effectiveness.
