A cup, 2 3/8” height, red glazed terra cotta finely modeled as a male head with bulging eyes and strong jaw. Pierced above the ears for suspension. The bottom and back with the glazed surface intact. The upper edge worn but with partial glaze over the edge confirming its form and use as a cup, probably for ritual purposes. The front with uniform light weathered surface retaining all its sensitive detail.
