Toltec/Teotihuacan C.500 AD. 2 1/4” length. Dark gray obsidian (volcanic glass). Broad tang for lashing to a wood, bone, or antler grip. Flaked cutting edge with deep cleft thrum rest opposite. Original archaeologist’s find label. Acquired by a Detroit doctor in Acapulco in the 1960s.
