9th-7th century BC. Slip decorated buff terra cotta.  8 1/4” diameter with flared slightly downturned lip pierced for hanging when not in use. Wheel turned on raised foot. Red slip body color overall. The well and rim decorated in brown slip rings with triple radials at the quarter points. Exceptional preservation with about 95%+ red slip finish remaining. From our own collection acquired in London in the 1980’s. Cypriot pottery was sold and used throughout the Mediterranean. Museum quality and condition.
