Printed page from The Psalter or Psalmes of David printed by Christopher Barker in 1592. He was the first official printer of the court of Elizabeth I of England and held exclusive patents to print bibles. Frontace page shown for reference only. 8” x 11 ¼”  Old English in two columns with printed margin notes. Page 40, The Altar of Sweet Parfume. Interesting to note that at the time, pages were numbered by the sheet and not the side, thus p.354 and p.355 are separate sheets. Fine large frameable and with great character.
