Broad band, 6.1mm width, with raised edge and deep relief decoration overall of hatched bands, abstract shapes (mystical meaning now lost). Worn by sorcerers who practiced pagan religion before the spread of Christianity and into the early Christian period. Excellent preservation for the period. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored with certification of authenticity, and gift boxed.
