Eastern Europe, 19th century. Appears to be silver of unknown purity and of quality fit for high status. Size 7 ½ with 3.3mm band (crack). Tall conical bezel with crenulated rim and swelled base, mounted with a red “stone”. These conical bezels, strange to our eyes, were popular but made with care that they were not taller than that on the clan Chief’s ring.
