The time of Christ the early Empire period. Bronze, just over 1” length plus the suspension loop. Conical socket with triple veins of delicate proportions with barbed bases. Usually lost on the battlefield and not often found in such good preservation. Professionally refurbished with a silver overlay and mounted on an 18” modern Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
