The Viking period through early Crusades. Gilt bronze, size 1 ½ for the small finger as was the custom. Rounded face 2.3mm width band. The shoulders are flared and reeded. The oval is finely engraved with a bordered four-point star of Bethlehem with indented sides, referencing the cross, in a radiant surround. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.103.
