17th-18th century, Russia/Ukraine. Gilt bronze, over 2 1/4 in height. Elegant form with a raised cross-centered and Cyrillic ciphers at the beam terminals. The reverse is plain as with earliest examples. Surface lightly textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored and on a Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
