Gilt bronze, just about 1 5/8” height including the suspension loop. The cross beam above center and the beams expanded toward the terminals in the “Maltese Cross” fashion. The front with a vacant cross and incised line bordered terminals. Reverse with a cross of foliate decorated leaf shaped beams. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface renewed, on a gilt Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gif boxed with certificate of authenticity. Very rare early form.
