These small globular pendants were popular among common women in ancient Rome. Some have been described as prostitute’s pendants and that view is widely published on the internet. This example is 7.7mm, over 1/4" diameter of spherical form. It is white metal, Zinc, or pewter, and untouched as found. It is suspended on a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear and is gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
